All Saints’ Day is celebrated every year on November 1, but in 2026 the date falls on a Sunday. For this reason, the public holiday has been moved to Monday, November 2, as set out in the autonomous community’s work calendar. As a result, the break will run from Saturday, October 31, through Monday, November 2.
Beyond the work calendar, All Saints’ Day is a tradition-filled occasion in Aragon. During this period, many families visit cemeteries to remember their loved ones and place flowers on their graves. It is also common to find traditional seasonal sweets in bakeries, such as saint’s bones and buñuelos de viento.
WHICH PUBLIC HOLIDAYS ARE LEFT IN ARAGON UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR?
In addition to All Saints’ Day, Aragon’s work calendar still includes three other public holidays before 2026 comes to an end. These are the dates still to come:
November 2 (Monday): day off because All Saints’ Day, which falls on Sunday, November 1, has been moved. December 7 (Monday): day off because Spanish Constitution Day, celebrated on Sunday, December 6, has been moved. December 8 (Tuesday): Immaculate Conception. December 25 (Friday): Christmas Day.
