The campaign accepts toys, except toy weapons and stuffed animals, as well as books, DVDs and sports equipment. Everything collected will be sorted and prepared for sale by the Sale's volunteer team, made up of more than 100 people. Correos will transport the donations from its offices to the recycling center.

The public company is collaborating for the 17th consecutive year with this solidarity initiative, which is now in its 28th edition in Aragon. The aim is to give a second life to items donated by families, schools, companies and associations and turn this public participation into funding for Oxfam Intermon humanitarian projects.

PROCEEDS WILL GO TO HUMANITARIAN AID IN CHAD

This year's proceeds will help strengthen the work Oxfam Intermon carries out in Chad, one of the Central Sahel countries affected by a serious humanitarian crisis. Among others, the organization assists refugees from Sudan and communities affected by food insecurity, violence and displacement.

Its efforts include distributing food aid, supplying drinking water, building latrines, and carrying out hygiene and protection initiatives. Oxfam Intermon also works in the Lake Chad basin, where attacks and movement restrictions have reduced trade and the incomes of many displaced families and host communities.

The collected toys and books will be put on sale on December 11, 12 and 13 at the Barrio Oliver Civic Center, located at 87 Calle Antonio Leyva in Zaragoza. This year's Sale is supported by Correos, Zaragoza City Council and the Barrio Oliver Neighborhood Association.
