Skiing in Aragon from €39: Ski passes return with discounts of up to 70% for schoolchildren

The aim is to help children and young people in Aragon take up or continue enjoying skiing at the region’s resorts. This is the goal of “Your Favorite Snow Getaway,” a program launched for the second consecutive year by the Government of Aragon and Grupo Aramón.

The initiative, launched last winter, aims to make the mountains more accessible to families in Aragon and encourage winter sports to become part of young people’s leisure and learning options. Through this partnership, both organizations seek to continue promoting sports, contact with the natural environment and awareness of a resource closely linked to Aragonese territory.

A PROGRAM OPEN TO STUDENTS IN ARAGON

The initiative is aimed at children and young people aged 3 to 18 who attend school in Aragon. During the 2026-2027 season, they will be able to ski at Cerler, Formigal-Panticosa, Javalambre and Valdelinares under special conditions. Ski passes can be purchased from November 3 until the end of the season, with discounts of up to 70% and two options covering 5 or 10 days.

The program establishes two categories based on year of birth: Junior, for those born between 2009 and 2020, and Chiquitín, for those born in 2021 or later. The 5-day pass will cost €119 for Juniors and €39 for Chiquitín skiers, while the 10-day pass will cost €199 for Juniors and €79 for Chiquitín skiers.

The program reaches nearly 1,000 schools in Aragon, thereby facilitating access for thousands of schoolchildren to an activity that combines sport, social interaction and contact with nature.

THE MOUNTAINS AS AN EDUCATIONAL SPACE

Beyond sports, “Your Favorite Snow Getaway” seeks to bring students closer to an environment that is particularly representative of Aragonese territory. The mountain experience encourages values such as independence, social interaction, effort and respect for the natural environment, while also allowing students to discover skiing as an activity linked both to leisure and to an active lifestyle.

The Education Department of the Government of Aragon will once again help promote the program among schools in the region. In the coming weeks, schools will receive all the information about the initiative and the procedure families must follow to take advantage of these special conditions during the 2026-2027 season.

With this second edition, the Government of Aragon and Grupo Aramón are strengthening a partnership aimed at bringing snow closer to younger generations and making it easier for more schoolchildren to enjoy the Aragonese mountains during the winter.
