Rainfall totals of 30 mm in one hour are expected, along with storms accompanied by very strong wind gusts and hail. Practically all the rest of Aragón is under a yellow alert for rainfall totals of 20 mm in one hour, as well as storms with hail and intense wind gusts. This yellow warning is active both in Zaragoza province, in the Ebro Riverside area, and throughout Huesca province.

On Wednesday night, the Government of Aragón activated its Special Civil Protection Plan for Adverse Weather Phenomena (Procifemar) and issued a series of recommendations, including closing windows, staying away from waterways and trees when outdoors, and driving on main roads.

Rain and storms will continue throughout the weekend and well into next week. Aemet is maintaining the yellow alert in Teruel for rainfall totals of 15 mm in one hour, along with storms featuring hail and wind. The alert is active in Albarracín and Jiloca. The arrival of the rain will also bring lower temperatures. Highs of between 26 and 27 degrees are expected in Zaragoza, between 22 and 24 in Huesca, and between 23 and 24 in Teruel.
