The long weekends remaining in Aragon's 2026 work calendar: upcoming public holidays

Only a few hours have passed since the October 12 public holiday, Pilar Day and Hispanic Day, and some are already checking the calendar for the next break. With the final quarter of the year underway, Aragon's 2026 work calendar still has several dates marked in red. The good news is that three long weekends remain before 2026 comes to an end, and the first is just around the corner.

The next opportunity will come with All Saints' Day, which falls on Sunday, November 1. However, the public holiday has been moved to Monday, November 2, allowing many workers to enjoy three consecutive days off, from Saturday, October 31, to Monday, November 2, without using any vacation days.

DECEMBER BRINGS TWO LONG WEEKENDS

The final month of the year offers the best opportunities for those who are still looking to get away. Aragon's work calendar designates Monday, December 7, as a public holiday, with Constitution Day moved from Sunday, December 6, and Tuesday, December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Combined with the weekend, this will allow people to enjoy four consecutive days off, from Saturday, December 5, to Tuesday, December 8, without using vacation days.

In addition, those who still have vacation days available will be able to extend this break considerably. By taking Wednesday, December 9, Thursday, December 10, and Friday, December 11, as vacation days, it will be possible to string together nine consecutive days without working, from Saturday, December 5, to Sunday, December 13, using just three vacation days.

There will still be one final opportunity before 2026 comes to an end. Christmas Day, December 25, falls on a Friday, meaning many workers will be able to enjoy another three-day long weekend, from Friday, December 25, to Sunday, December 27. It will be the fourth and final major break provided by Aragon's work calendar before 2027 gets fully underway.
