None of the parties—CHA, United Left, Podemos, Green Party and Recortes Cero—“has walked away from the negotiating table as of today,” according to sources involved in the talks, despite the disagreements between Podemos and Frente Amplio in Madrid and Barcelona. However, they acknowledge that all these developments have delayed a possible agreement.
If an agreement is reached, the parties will have another week to decide the order of candidates on the list. Many of them were part of Sumar in the previous elections. Through this coalition, they secured a seat for Zaragoza, which was held by Chunta president Jorge Pueyo. After he moved into regional politics, however, he was replaced by Laura Vergara, who is linked to groups working on mobility issues.
