Sleeping in a Park Will Remain Banned in Zaragoza but Will No Longer Be a Serious Offense
Sleeping overnight in a park or garden will remain prohibited in Zaragoza under the new Civic Ordinance, but the conduct will be reclassified under the penalties regime. The text approved Thursday by the city council of the Aragonese capital removes sleeping overnight in these spaces from the category of serious offenses and places it among minor offenses related to the indiscriminate or exclusionary use of public space.
