The actor shared several moments from last October 12 on social media, when he took part in the Offering of Flowers dressed in an elegant baturro outfit, featuring blue details and a cachirulo worn as a neckerchief. He chose to immortalize the experience with several photographs posted on his Instagram profile, making clear his affection for Zaragoza and its traditions.
CANCO RODRÍGUEZ, MOVED IN ZARAGOZA
"Always warmly welcomed and well looked after in Maño lands," the performer wrote alongside the images from this special day. He added several red hearts and thanked someone who played an important role in his participation in the event: Julio Bellido, an actor and jota dancer who appears posing with him in one of the photographs shared on Instagram. The two met again at a celebration that, judging by Rodríguez's words, has already become a special occasion.
Bellido himself was quick to reply to the post with a humorous and good-natured comment: "Thank you! It's a pleasure to share everything with you again! Next year, I'll be waiting for you all!".
ARAGONESE PEOPLE APPLAUD HIS GESTURE
The Málaga-born actor's post did not go unnoticed by his followers either, particularly among Aragonese users, who celebrated his participation in the Offering and the affection he has shown for the region's customs. "But Canco, what style in that baturro outfit!!! You couldn't have been better dressed or in better company," one follower commented, joking that the actor might even win a prize.
Other users wanted to thank him for taking part in such a special tradition for Zaragoza. "I'm so happy that you like our Offering; it's very important to us Maños. You will always be welcome," read one comment. "And how thrilled we were to see you taking part as an oferente!!! You will always be welcome in our land," another follower added.
Some also highlighted the value of sharing and enjoying traditions from other places. "I love seeing people embrace and love our traditions, but I would love even more to see you dressed in the traditional costume from your homeland. I think it's so enriching for everyone," another user wrote.
'ZABARET' CONTINUES IN VALDESPARTERA
Canco Rodríguez's visit to Zaragoza is not limited to his participation in the Offering of Flowers. The performer remains in the Aragonese capital with 'Zabaret', his show at the Valdespartera fairgrounds. Zaragoza residents will still have the chance to enjoy the show on October 23, 24 and 31, as well as November 1 and 2.
In this way, the Málaga-born actor is extending his stay in Zaragoza after enjoying one of the traditions most cherished by the Aragonese, showing that devotion and affection for the Virgin of the Pillar also extend beyond the borders of Aragon.
