Actor Raúl Arévalo and Zaragoza-born screenwriter Isabel Peña will visit the Aragonese capital to present "El castillo," a crime series about the rise of sexual exploitation networks in Spain. The event will allow the public to watch the first two episodes for free and then speak with its leading figures.

The screening will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a discussion from 7:30 p.m. moderated by Luis Alegre, a writer, journalist and professor at the University of Zaragoza.

ABOUT "EL CASTILLO"

It is a six-episode crime series based on real events and on Mabel Lozano's nonfiction book "El proxeneta." The series reconstructs the rise of Spain's pimping mafia and features a cast led by Raúl Arévalo, Valentina Vidal, Omar Ayuso and Laia Marull. The production was well received at the recent San Sebastian Film Festival.

The story follows Gerardo Liesa, a young police inspector who has just joined the Central Unit for Illegal Immigration Networks and Document Fraud (UCRIF). Alongside his colleague Carmen Osés, he begins to suspect that something is changing in brothels across Spain.

The filmmaker and actor recently worked together on "El ser querido," Rodrigo Sorogoyen's latest film, co-directed with the Zaragoza-born filmmaker.
