This exhibition showcases the creation and research project developed by OPN Studio during their residency in the museum's workshops, made possible through sponsorship from The Modern Cultural, a company dedicated to managing cultural content using advanced technology in museums, institutions and public programs.
At the exhibition's presentation, Iaacc Pablo Serrano director Julio Ramón thanked the Directorate-General for Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Government of Aragón for "supporting all the proposals we put forward from the museum" and The Modern Cultural "for the cultural sponsorship that makes it possible to double the funding for the call for artistic creation and research projects."
The head of The Modern Cultural, Ana Revilla, said that "it has been a pleasure, not only on a creative level," to promote this project, which demonstrates that art "is a language in which we all participate and to which we can all gain access." Through OPN Studio's proposal, "we have learned a great deal about artificial intelligence" and society's relationship with information.
Susana Ballesteros explained that ERRoRACLE is an immersive art installation that critically explores the contemporary relationship between artificial intelligence, information and power. Conceived as a digital deity, the work reinterprets the ancient archetype of the oracle and places it in the context of hyperconnected societies, where algorithms and digital platforms increasingly mediate people's relationship with knowledge, truth and reality.
NOISE, UNCERTAINTY AND DISINFORMATION
Unlike traditional oracles, this new entity offers neither wisdom nor guidance. ERRoRACLE produces noise, uncertainty and disinformation. Through artificial intelligence, generative language models, synthetic voices and audiovisual environments, this digital deity analyzes global information flows in real time and generates proclamations that oscillate between verifiable fact, distortion and invention. Visitors are thus confronted with an exercise in discernment, in which they question their own mechanisms of interpretation through experience.
