Grupo Nola will once again be present during the Fiestas del Pilar with four spaces and four different concepts. Nola Smoke’s burgers, MakDürüm’s French tacos and Smoked Pulled’s smoked, slow-cooked dishes will be joined this year by a fourth offering: Las Tartas de Nola, the group’s new brand and one of its main innovations for the festivities.
The idea stems from one of Nola’s most recognizable products: chef Álex Viñal’s cheesecake. The group has decided to turn this sweet side into a brand of its own and bring it for the first time to the Foodtrucks at Parque San Pablo, which will also be the first and, for now, the only place where these new cakes can be purchased.
Alongside its classic cheesecake and dulce de leche cheesecake, Las Tartas de Nola will debut with three bolder versions inspired by the spirit of a fair. Manzana de Feria brings the memory of traditional candy apples to cheesecake; the Unicorn Cake combines Petit Suisse flavor with cotton candy; while Cookies Cream draws on the flavors of warm chocolate cookies and whipped cream.
"LA MAÑA," NOLA’S NEW BURGER FOR THE FIESTAS DEL PILAR
Nola Smoke’s fifth anniversary will also have an Aragonese flavor. For the Fiestas del Pilar, the company has created "La Maña," a burger that incorporates ingredients and references from Aragón into one of the brand’s signature creations.
The new burger is made with a brioche bun, mayo sauce, a matured beef chop patty, English cheddar, Graus longaniza bolognese, bacon chips and Nola sauce. It is a combination in which the sausage from the Alto Aragón region becomes one of the star ingredients.

"LA NONNA" BECOMES A FRENCH TACO AT MAKDÜRÜM
Another new offering will come from MakDürüm. For the Fiestas del Pilar, Grupo Nola has decided to transform one of its best-known creations and present it in a completely different format.
That is how the "La Nonna" Tako Kebab was created, a French taco version inspired by Nola’s popular creation. It is made with beef kebab meat, Nonna sauce, egg yolk, grated cheese, bacon, smoked cream and french fries.
It is a substantial offering through which the group brings the flavors of La Nonna into the world of MakDürüm, and it will be available while the brand is present at the Foodtrucks.
PULLED PORK AND THE SMOKED FLAVOR OF SMOKED PULLED
The group’s third savory offering will come from Smoked Pulled, the concept specializing in low-temperature cooking, smoke and BBQ flavors.
Its offerings for the festivities will include its Pulled Pork Sandwich, made with an American pretzel bun, smoked Duroc pork pulled pork cooked at low temperature, Kentucky barbecue sauce and smoked corn-nut powder.
The menu will be rounded out by two other options for meat lovers. One is the BBQ Ribs, made with low-temperature-cooked Duroc pork, barbecue sauce, smoked mayonnaise and homemade potatoes. The other is Papas Pulled, served with Smoke sauce, La Vera paprika cream and Duroc pork pulled pork.
A "PASSPORT" AROUND THE FOODTRUCKS WITH AN IPHONE DUO AS THE PRIZE
Grupo Nola’s four offerings will be linked during these Fiestas del Pilar through a special Gastronomic Passport, with a limited edition of 5,000 copies. The passports will be given to the first people who buy "La Maña" at the Nola Smoke food truck. From there, participants will begin a tour of the four brands: Nola Smoke, MakDürüm, Smoked Pulled and Las Tartas de Nola.
Each purchase made at one of these four spaces will earn the corresponding stamp. Those who complete all four stops will be able to place the participation section in a ballot box located at the Nola Smoke food truck. Among all completed passports, Grupo Nola will raffle an iPhone Duo during the week after the Fiestas del Pilar, an initiative with which the company also wants to celebrate Nola Smoke’s fifth anniversary.
All four offerings will be available at the Foodtrucks area in Parque San Pablo from October 8 to 18, turning this corner of the festivities into a journey that this year will run from Graus longaniza and pulled pork to cotton candy and fairground apples.
